Symptoms
How is the diagnosis made?
Diagnosis is made through a clinical examination and an ultrasound of the testicle. A blood test is also taken to check for tumour markers (βHCG, αFP and LDH). For staging (checking for or ruling out metastases), a CT scan of the chest and abdomen is performed.
