Merestraat Campus
Merestraat campus is the second Aalst campus of the AZORG hospital, alongside the main Moorselbaan campus. At Merestraat campus, Urology Group Aalst provides minimum coverage for consultations and small outpatient procedures. Urology Group Aalst does not perform hospitalisations here. For urological emergencies, it's best to go to the main Moorselbaan campus.

Checking in for your consultation
First register at the central check-in desk at the entrance. The urology consultation is on the ground floor (follow the EC-urology route). Then check in at the urology secretariat. Front-desk staff are ready to guide you.

By car
From Brussels (E40)
Take exit 19 (Aalst) and take the third exit (R41, Siesegemlaan) towards Dendermonde. Turn right at the second junction. After 100 metres, turn right onto the campus.
From Ghent (E40)
Take exit 19 (Aalst) and keep left. Follow the second exit towards Aalst (N45). Then take the first exit towards Ghent (E40) and Dendermonde (N41) and continue towards Ghent & Dendermonde. Take the second exit (R41, Siesegemlaan) towards Dendermonde. Turn right at the second junction. After 100 metres, turn right onto the campus.
By public transport
The Aalst campus is easily reached by public transport from Aalst train station. Lines 1 and 4 stop at the hospital entrance. You can look up your exact route on the NMBS/SNCB and De Lijn websites.
By bike (or moped)
A large bike shelter for visitors is located by following the path to the left past the main entrance.

You can browse the internet with your own laptop or smartphone. Wifi is available for patients at all campuses. Ask for the wifi code at the department or ward.
Mom & Pop visitor café
At Merestraat campus, the visitor café 'Mom & Pop Super Mega Farm' is located on the ground floor, to the right of the entrance hall. On weekdays you can enjoy a lovely breakfast there from 8am. At lunchtime, help yourself at the salad bar with homemade salads, plus fresh soup and daily specials (vegetarian too). Takeaway is available, as are freshly made sandwiches and homemade desserts in the afternoon.
Wheelchairs
Admitted patients can use a hospital wheelchair during their stay. Outpatients and visitors can use the wheelchairs available in the entrance hall.
Radio and television
Every room is equipped with a radio and a television. Bringing your own TV or radio is not allowed.
Newspapers and magazines
Newspapers and magazines are on sale daily at the hospital shop.
Library
You can borrow books for free from the hospital library. At Merestraat campus, books are brought to patients' bedsides on Tuesday afternoons.
